Other Ingredients & Equipment You'll Need: Mixing Bowl, Mixing Spoon, Scale, Mixing Spoon, Pot (For Double Boiler), Vegetable Peeler, Thermometer (Sold Separately), Pouring Pot (Sold Separately)

Directions:

First, we will prepare the red wax. Use a double boiler to melt 60 grams of the Pillar of Bliss Candle Wax to 195F. Add 5 drops of the red Nature Friendly Liquid Candle Dye. As the wax is melting, stir occasionally.
Allow the temperature to drop to about 180F. Add 6 grams of the Peppermint Bark Fragrance Oil Stir.
Allow the temperature to drop to 175F and pour the wax into the mold. Fill a couple cavities of the mold with the wax. Allow the wax to set up before removing them from the mold. Use your vegetable peeler to shred the wax. Set the shreds aside, for now. You will use them in a later step.
Next, we will prepare the brown layer. Use a double boiler to melt 96 grams of the Pillar of Bliss Candle Wax to 195F. Add 10 drops of the brown Nature Friendly Liquid Candle Dye. As the wax is melting, stir occasionally.
Allow the temperature to drop to about 180F. Add 9 grams of the Peppermint Bark Fragrance Oil Stir.
Allow the temperature to drop to 175F and pour the wax into the mold. You want to fill each cavity about ¼ of the way full, dividing it equally between each cavity. Allow the wax to set up before moving on.
Now, prepare the white wax. Weigh out and melt 222 grams of the Pillar of Bliss Candle Wax in your double boiler to 195F.
Once the wax has melted let the temperature drop to 185F. At this time, add 22 grams of the Peppermint Bark Fragrance Oil. Stir.
Allow the temperature to drop to 150F. Then, add wax to each cavity of the mold until each is about ¾ of the way full.
Add some of the red shreds to each cavity of the mold. Allow the melts to finish setting up before removing them from the mold.

Your wax melts are ready to use! Simply place a melt in your wax burner and enjoy!
